To get a full inside and out clean feel, here are a few techniques to try.
1. Ear candling or ear coning
Is an alternative medicine approach for clearing out wax from ears by lighting a candle attached to cone tube which is inserted into the ear. Research has yet to prove this technique works but it is widely practised.
2. Turkish Bath & oil massage
The Turkish bath experience entails bathing in a pool of mineral rich water, followed by a hot stone cleanse, body scrub and wash. You wouldn't believe how much dirt accumulates on your body until you have this done.
3. Enima or Colonic irrigation/hydrotherapy
This technique is well known for cleansing the bowels and helps digestive problems. This can either be done at a clinic or at home with a kit. This technique involves cleansing the bowel with a coffee based liquid and water. Several rounds gives the bowels a good cleanse.
4. Body Scrub and moisturising
A body scrub using exfoliation gloves or a body brush with a scrub helps clear dead skin and clean pores. Followed by a good moisturiser, skin will feel soft and supple.
5. Face steam, cleanse, tone & moisturise
Steaming your face, either using a bowl of hot water and towel or a professional steamer opens the pores allowing for a tone, cleanse and moisturise routine to clean and soften skin.
6. Bath with Epsom salts
Epsom salts are known to detoxify your body. A warm bath with Epsom salts removes toxins from the body and leves you feeling refreshed.
